Privacy Policy

In short: we collect the minimum needed for the app to work. Your routes and photos live on your phone. We never sell your data or share it with ad networks.
1. Who we are
Vespa Club Ukraine, a community of Vespa owners in Ukraine. Data contact: vespaclub@stezha.club.
2. What we process
Account
Email, name, optionally city. Passwords are stored only as a cryptographic hash — the plaintext exists nowhere in our database or logs. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only ever see Apple's relay address.
Scooters and service records
Model, year, mileage, optional VIN, photos, service entries with costs and receipts. This is your private garage — other members cannot see it.
Location
The app records coordinates only during a ride you started yourself and stops the moment you finish it. With "Always" permission, recording continues while the app is in the background or the screen is locked — this keeps the route from breaking while the phone is in your pocket; iOS shows the location indicator throughout.
From the route we derive the start and finish city and region for the map and geography achievements. We do not track your location outside of rides and never share location data with third parties.
Technical data
The server keeps standard request logs — time, path, response code, IP address — for diagnostics and abuse protection, retained no longer than 30 days.
3. What we never do
- sell or share your data with ad networks;
- embed advertising SDKs or trackers;
- read your contacts, messages or photo library beyond the photos you pick;
- track you across other apps and websites.
4. Where data is stored
The primary copy is on your phone. The club server is located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). All transfers use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Verification emails are delivered by Resend (USA), which receives only your address and the message body.
5. What others can see
Your Club ID QR code leads to a page showing your name, member number, number of Vespas, total distance and achievement count. Email, phone, address, VIN and routes are never shown.
6. Your rights
At any time you can view your data (it is all in the app), correct it, request a copy, or delete your account and all data — in the app under Profile → Delete account, or via the form on this site if you no longer have the app. Deletion removes your profile, scooters, rides, service records, photos and achievements, and cannot be undone. Database backups are kept for 14 days, after which the data is gone from those too.
7. Children
The app is intended for scooter owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
8. Changes
We will announce material changes in the app. The update date is always shown at the top of this page.
